Privacy Policy

When you request a booking, create an account, or sign in, we collect:

• Your name and mobile / WhatsApp number
• Your email address
• Your country of residence (optional)
• Booking details — preferred date, number of travellers, pickup point, any special requests, and any discount code you enter
• For account holders: a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), your Explorer Pass and credit history, your bookings, and check-in codes
• Photos you choose to upload to the guest gallery, and any captions you add

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

We also collect basic, aggregated usage data (such as pages viewed) to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising trackers.

• To arrange, confirm and run your tour
• To contact you before a trip — usually by WhatsApp or email — about pickup times, changes, or weather
• To manage your account, Explorer Pass and bookings
• To respond to your enquiries
• To keep records required for accounting, safety and legal compliance

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We use trusted third parties to run the service. They process your data on our instructions:

• Supabase — database and account authentication (hosting our booking and account records)
• Vercel — website hosting
• Google— optional “Sign in with Google”
• An email delivery provider — to send verification and account emails
• OpenStreetMap — map tiles shown on tour pages

Communication about your trip normally happens over WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own privacy terms.

We do not take card payments through this website. Prices shown are indicative; the final amount and payment method are agreed with you directly. We do not store card or bank details.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember simple preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We keep your account and booking information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you. To make a request, please contact us. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Accounts are for adults. Children may travel as part of a booking made by an adult, but should not create their own account.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
