Chureito PagodaThe Chureito Pagoda is a famous five-story red pagoda located in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Built in 1963 as a peace memorial, it is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine complex. Visitors must climb 398 stone steps up the mountainside of Arakurayama Sengen Park to reach it. It offers one of Japan's most iconic views, framing the pagoda alongside a majestic Mount Fuji. The location is globally renowned for its breathtaking scenery during the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons.

Lawson Mt. Fuji Photo SpotThe Lawson Kawaguchiko Ekimae store became a viral social media sensation for its unique view of Mount Fuji seamlessly towering directly behind the convenience store’s blue roof. Due to extreme overtourism, dangerous jaywalking, and crowding, local authorities initially installed a massive 2.5-meter-high black screen in May 2024 to completely block the photo angle. The large, view-blocking black screen was permanently removed later that year after safety adjustments and community feedback. Today, a much shorter 1.4-meter barrier stands along the pavement, designed strictly to keep visitors safely out of traffic while leaving the beautiful mountain view fully visible. To ensure a respectful visit, travelers are asked to use the marked designated photo zones, follow safety signs, and never block the store entrance or neighboring properties.

Mt. Fuji Panoramic RopewayThe Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway is a popular cable car system that ascends the slopes of Mount Tenjo along the eastern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko. The aerial ride takes only three minutes to reach an observation deck situated over 1,000 meters above sea level. From the summit observation deck, visitors are treated to panoramic views of Lake Kawaguchiko below and a sweeping vista of Mount Fuji. The mountain is the setting for the famous Japanese folk tale Kachi-Kachi Yama, which is why the ropeway cars and summit are decorated with cute rabbit and raccoon statues. At the top, tourists can enjoy unique attractions like the Tenjo Bell, a scenic swing, and a small shrine dedicated to safe mountain travel.
